Ricki holds as her life's dedication a desire
to inspire health, consciousness, and creative expression. As a Licensed
Psychotherapist, Registered Dance Movement Therapist, and Certified
Yoga Teacher, she brings a holistic and humanistic approach to all
that she does. In addition to holding two Masters degrees from Hunter
College (a Masters of Social Work and a Masters in Dance/Movement
Therapy), Ricki draws upon years of professional training in Authentic
Movement, Psychodrama, Voice Dialogue, Transpersonal Drama Therapy
(certified), Sandplay Therapy, and trauma and addictions therapies.
Her 20-plus years of experience in yoga includes extensive study and
training in Anusara, Kundalini, Iyengar, Vinyasa and Kripalu styles
of Hatha yoga as well as Buddhist mindfulness meditation. Ricki's
primary 200-hour teacher training was in Anusara Yoga. She then went
on to be 200-hour certified in Kundalini Yoga as well. Ricki is three-times
certified in prenatal yoga and certified in Restorative Yoga. Ricki
has been a pioneer in bridging corporate training and bodymind healing
modalities and is currently an in-house consultant at JP Morgan Chase,
Lenox Hill Hospital, the Prospect Park YMCA as well as law firms,
hedge fund firms, and venture capital firms. Ricki has been dancing
as a way of life and living since the age of six. Her energy, non-judgmental
presence, and playful nature, and her deep belief in the creative
process, provide a safe space for profound personal inquiry and expression.
