Pregnancy is a time to nurture yourself,
take care of your body, and attune to your baby inside. It's a time
where you may be more sensitive, more vulnerable, and more powerful
than any other. It's a time where you have the opportunity to set
the patterns for yourself, your baby, and your relationship with
your baby for a lifetime ahead. In Prenatal Yoga, you will have
the time and learn the skills to do all this and so much more...
Come grow with us.

"This class is the perfect match for
what I was hoping to find in a prenatal yoga class: informative,
playful, fun, spiritual, empowering, and invigorating. It's
a great way to feel connected to other women, not to mention
get some great practical advice. And unlike everything else
we encounter in this city, the pace is slowed down; a reminder
that life should be savored and not rushed through. I've taken
lots of other yoga classes but none have transported me to
such a relaxed, even sacred, place before. This class is a
gift I give to myself each week. It's an hour and a half where
I can totally relax and spend time focusing on me and the
little one growing inside me. And what's better than that?!"

"I can't say enough about the
great benefits of Ricki's Prenatal Yoga classes. I started
attending them when I was 4 months pregnant and kept
going till the day before my delivery. Ricki creates
a time and space to look within yourself, to connect
with the pregnancy and with your baby. Linking yoga
postures with the breath helps you reconnect with your
inner wisdom of the process of birth, brings awareness
to the mind, body and spirit, and also the spirit of
your baby. On a physical level, it helps you strengthen
the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation,
lower stress levels, and helps to increase energy levels.
I had a pretty stressful natural delivery, and having
taken these classes, I was able to focus on my inner
strength and emotionally and physically cope with the
birth process."

"Ricki helped me prepare for labor,
delivery, and motherhood in three important ways. One,
she helped me strengthen and open the pelvic floor so
that my delivery was smooth and my recovery quick. Two,
she taught me exercises that gave me the mental preparation
I relied on during early and active labor and which
explicitly helped me get through each very difficult
contraction! And three, and perhaps most importantly,
Ricki's choice of meditation and music helped me tap
into the love I had for my baby that created a bond
between us even before he arrived. Thank you Ricki!"
- Rachel, new mom
