It gives us the opportunity to slow down and nourish ourselves,
to revitalize when feeling burnt out, and to let go of the stress
that builds up from daily pressures. Yoga becomes a foundation to
live our lives with greater awareness, focus, calm, and confidence.
It helps us learn how to maintain equanimity no matter what comes
our way.
It has been said that "Yoga teaches us how
to surf the waves of change." In these demanding times, we
could all benefit from learning how to surf skillfully and safely!

ShantiSpace offers on-site yoga, bringing the ancient healing
tradition of yoga into context with modern-day challenges. All that
is necessary is an open space (conference room, office, fitness
room) and an interest in receiving the benefits.
Private Sessions are available and perfect for the busy executive
who cannot get to a regular class or would prefer the privacy and
personal attention an individual session provides. Whether to de-stress
and refuel, gain flexibility and strength, improve posture and alignment,
or work with an injury or special condition, each session is tailored
to meet your needs. Whether you have never done yoga before or are
an advanced practitioner, each session will work at your pace and
be geared to your level. You will leave feeling energized and relaxed;
ready to face the challenges of the rest of the day.
Group classes are also available. Each class combines slow sustained
stretches within a flowing sequence, breathwork, and deep relaxation,
and can be geared towards any level of experience.
Classes may be scheduled anytime from 7:00am to 8:30pm, and vary
in length from 30 to 90 minutes. Classes are run as a regular weekly
series for a recommended minimum of 6 weeks. Groups can be of any
size (depending on your space capacity).
One-time workshops can be effective experiences for your
staff to complement your off-site, corporate celebration, or special
event. They are a great way to build morale and bonding as well
as enhance introspection and self awareness. Workshops can be tailored
to experientially support your event's goals; e.g., change management,
cooperation, staying the course and meeting today's challenges,
or could simply be a wonderful gift to your employees.
Costs for Yoga at Work:
These prices are based on a one-hour class, with
a recommended minimum enrollment of six classes. Adjustments made
for shorter or longer classes.
